Reticulated python (Malayopython reticulatus). Tanned and dyed full-skin, cut so the widest scales run across the body of the bag. Edges are painted by hand.

No two skins are identical. Their scales, markings and subtle variations are part of what makes every ALIGATTI piece its own. Natural character is not a defect.

ALIGATTI works with genuine exotic leather. Applicable sourcing and trade documentation can be discussed with our team. International shipping eligibility and permit requirements depend on the species and destination; orders are subject to the relevant rules and approvals.

• Keep it dry: Avoid rain, soaking, steam and prolonged humidity. If the surface gets wet, blot gently with a clean, dry cloth and allow it to air dry away from heat.
• Avoid direct heat and sun: Do not leave your piece in direct sunlight, near heaters or inside a hot vehicle. Heat can dry the leather and alter its color.
• Handle with the scales: Wipe gently in the natural direction of the scales using a soft, dry, lint free cloth. Do not brush against the scales or lift their edges.
• Skip household cleaners: Avoid alcohol, detergents, perfumes, oils, polish and generic leather conditioners. Finishes vary, so ask ALIGATTI before applying any treatment.
• Protect the interior: Keep liquids, cosmetics and pens sealed. For suede lining, use a clean, soft suede brush sparingly and test on a hidden area first.

Empty the bag, gently support its shape with clean, acid free tissue, and place it in a breathable dust bag. Store in a cool, dry, ventilated space. Avoid plastic wrapping and stacking heavy objects on top.

Light surface wear can develop with use. If a scale lifts, a seam loosens or the finish changes, stop treating the area and contact us for specialist guidance.
